2019 Christmas menu

Workplace catering

Christmas afternoon and morning teas – $6.50 a head (3 items), $8.00 a head (4 items)

  • Food2u famous sausage rolls with Food2u relish
  • Mini asparagus and smoked salmon quiches
  • Herb, sundried tomatoes and fetta mini muffins
  • Mince pies (gluten free available)
  • Cinnamon star cookies
  • Chocolate and nut log slice (gluten free)
  • Mini berry tarts

Christmas gourmet sandwiches – $13.00 a head (4 items per person)

  • Smoked salmon finger sandwiches on white bread with cucumber and dill mayonnaise
  • Honey glazed ham on petite rolls with Food2u fruit relish and greens
  • Open Danish vegetarian sandwich on rye bread with hummus, artichokes, and thyme and garlic roasted tomato
  • Vegetarian sushi

Complete lunch – $17.50 a head

  • Food2u famous sausage rolls with Food2u relish OR asparagus and smoked salmon quiches
  • Gourmet sandwich selection
  • Round off with a platter of sweet Christmas mince pies and tarts

”Not sandwiches again“ – with a Christmas twist – $15.00 a head

  • Selection of Christmas quiches: Smoked salmon and asparagus, turkey, cranberry sauce and brie or tomato and basil a with summer salad and crusty bread
  • Selection of summer salads: Asparagus, egg and vinaigrette, pink eye potato with cornichons and capers, spinach, pear and walnut

Platters for drinks parties (minimum 10 people)

Antipasto platter – $8.50 per person

  • Includes frittata, roasted capsicum, grilled eggplant, olives and feta salad, prosciutto and melon, pickled vegetables, Italian salami, Tasmanian brie, hummus, roasted capsicum and sun dried tomato dip, assorted breads

Food2u favourites platter – $9 per person

  • Sushi with avocado and ginger, spinach and feta filo pastries, vegetarian pizza, mini Quiche Lorraine, and our delicious homemade pork sausage rolls served with tomato relish

Something a bit special

Nibbles picnic box (minimum 10 people) – $20 per person

  • Selection of dips and cheese with Food2u lavosh bread, dolmades, frittata bites, olives, roasted capsicum and eggplant, crusty bread, Food2u mince pies, orange juice or sparkling mineral water, paper plates, disposable cutlery

Lunch picnic box (minimum 10 people) – $25 per person

  • Selection of dips with lavosh, quiches, cold meats, salads, crusty bread, Food2u mini berry tarts and mince pies, sparkling mineral water or orange juice, paper plates, disposable cutlery

Barbecue (minimum 20 people) – $50 per person

  • Mains: Salmon cutlets with lemon and thyme, Lebanese lamb burgers, Bratwurst sausages, lentil and vegetable burgers
  • Salads: Pink eye potatoes with sherry vinaigrette, black pepper and parsley, green bean, mushroom and almond, eggplant, zucchini and chickpea with falafel and yoghurt, spinach, walnut and crispy bacon
  • Dessert: Baked lemon tart, Tasmanian berry summer puddings
  • Fresh bread selection and condiments
  • Cost includes staff, tablecloths, cutlery and crockery, and infrastructure to cook and serve the meal


  • Our Christmas menu is effective from 2 November until 24 December 2019.
  • Our usual menus are also on offer during the Christmas period. Please specify when ordering if you would like the Christmas menu or the usual.
  • We cater for vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and other dietary requirements. Give us a call to discuss your needs.
  • Delivery charges apply.
  • Extra charges apply for weekends – 15% surcharge for Saturdays and 20% surcharge for Sundays and public holidays.

Staff hire

  • Chef $50/hour Monday – Friday, add 50% to hourly rate for weekends and public holidays.
  • Senior waiting staff $40/hour Monday – Friday, add 50% to hourly rate for weekends and public holidays.
  • Junior staff $35/hour Monday – Friday, add 50% to hourly rate for weekends and public holidays.
