About us
food2u is the creation of Chef, Philippe Pascal.
Philippe has been a professional Chef for over twenty-five years. He worked in many top restaurants in Melbourne before settling in Tasmania in 1989. He ran his own successful restaurant Panache in Salamanca Place and was Executive Chef at Lenna of Hobart. He has trained many apprentices and shares his passion through Adult Education courses.
food2u is a working gourmet kitchen creating delicious food made from the highest quality ingredients: using free range eggs, hormone free chicken and meat, couverture chocolate, real butter, seasonal fruit and fresh vegetables.
food2u now has a retail outlet which offers take away or dine in. Come and visit our shop and café in Moonah. Enjoy fresh brewed coffee or tea whilst browsing our full range of delicious home-style gourmet delights – over the counter sales or table service. Hours of opening are Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm, and Saturday 9am to 1pm. We look forward to seeing you.
