food2u is the creation of Chef, Philippe Pascal.
Philippe has been a professional Chef for over twenty-five years. He worked in many top restaurants in Melbourne before settling in Tasmania in 1989. He ran his own successful restaurant Panache in Salamanca Place and was Executive Chef at Lenna of Hobart. He has trained many apprentices and shares his passion through Adult Education courses.
food2u is a working gourmet kitchen creating delicious food made from the highest quality ingredients: using free range eggs, hormone free chicken and meat, couverture chocolate, real butter, seasonal fruit and fresh vegetables.
As well as being a successful catering business, food2u has developed an exciting new concept - homefood. food2u's homefood delivers freshly made meals direct to home or office. Choose from tempting smoked salmon and dill quiche; potato and leek soup; silverbeet, pumpkin and three cheese pie; roast Mediterranean vegetable lasagne; spinach and ricotta ravioli; orange and almond cake; chocolate brownies; tomato relish; lemon pickle and many more delicious meals, desserts and treats.
homefood can be ordered online or by telephone. Customers can choose to have their order delivered or collect it from food2u's kitchen at the Derwent Sailing Squadron at Sandy Bay, open 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday.
